Here is the official first mixtape from The Homie Mike Stud "A Toast To Tommy" Question though, if it is for sale on Itunes, is it still a mixtape? Either way, dude has garnered around 12K fans on facebook before even dropping the project and he has done so with music that dates back 8-12 months now and with the help of John Kilmer and his viral music videos. "The Homie" gets quite a bit of respect and criticism for his over use of punch lines in EVERY song. Don't get me wrong, I usually laugh at some point in his songs due to some funny line about anything really. Hence why I like a majority of his music...but as you will see in the video below, Mr. Stud, apparently does not like the label of a punch line rapper...now to try and stay objective and not diss on the guy too harshly with a statement like that, I have a piece of advice...If you don't like to be called a punch line rapper, then DON'T USE A PUNCH LINE IN EVERY LINE OF EVERY SONG! AND THEN MAKE A SONG ABOUT HOW YOU ARE NOT A PUNCHLINE RAPPER BUT YET USE A PUNCHLINE IN EVERY LINE OF THAT SONG! Okay, that's out of the way. Lastly Mike Stud. Just because you use a "trap" beat, doesn't make it trap music...Just saying!
