Napalm: Down & Dirty

(Napalm-Repping Chicago) Okay peeps--I've been following this dude for about the last mmm 12 months or so...My boy let me listen to his Mixtape "Hits from the Highway" and I will say that from the beginning I was not always a Napalm fan...I was like okay he raps, it's aight...whatev...Then I started seeing on facebook, his fan page go from around 1000 fans to 50,000 fans (to date, he is over 200,000 fans!)...with tons of posts and links to blog pages with articles featuring Napalm..next thing I know he's releasing an Asher Roth diss...hmmm song was aight...video was dope and I think he got his point across with it...I watched the behind the scenes video (which was hella tight too) and there were tons of flippin people there for this shoot...mind you..Napalm, at this time was not signed to any label...how did he get this crew of people around him to support him?  Dedication and respect is the easiest way to explain it.  Then Mr Palm drops "Disco Baby."  His style from his Mixtape to this completley did a 180...who is this dude??  What's with this techno, electronic, poppy beats? HMM...wait a sec, I like this $hit...and the Napalm fan was born.  He did a couple of shows, to which I saw pics and then venues were jammed pack...Then Boom!  Napalm heading to LA then he drops it on us...He signed with an Indie label Tricoastal Records and relocates to Lake Tahoe, Utah.  Hard @ work, teasing up with viral videos of his recording sessions for "Dirty Girls Like Dirty Beats" (his witty line for his faithful fans~oh and get a T-Shirt too~).  Then he drops it and it gets his National attention...very shortly afterwards Napalm is embarking on his National Fall College Tour...Hitting everything from the East to the West and some of us in the middle...I have been working tirelessly with a local promoter to get Napalm and his crew to the Twin Cities...we shall see what happens..all I know is we need to hurry up before his cost goes any HIGHER! LOL.  Anyways...I just wanted to give Naaaa a big shout out for his hardwork and to his crew that stayed faithful and very dedicated to him...dude blew up in no time.  Some of us wish to be soo lucky with that!
